Art Box Surprise for the holidays and beyond!

 In Artwork, Just for Fun

Skin City wants to wish you the happiest of holidays! 2017 was one of our best years ever, thanks to YOU – our wonderful clients and agency partners. It is an honor to provide you with top quality body paint & event services at competitive pricing in Las Vegas and beyond.

And just in case you are still stuck looking for the perfect gift idea for that hard-to- shop-for friend or relative, you are in luck! A local Vegas artist has created the perfect present, and it’s one that keeps giving all year. Art Box Surprise is an innovative monthly subscription that brings local Vegas art to your door every month.

This unique service is the brainchild of Las Vegas artist and entrepreneur Susan Deneau, and features an impressive collective of artists creating small-scale artwork, including paintings, sculptures, signed art prints, fiber arts, drawings, and the newest trend: art trading cards, also called ACEOs (Artist Card Editions & Originals).

Deneau explains, “There are monthly options between $25-100, as well ‘one-time’ boxes for those who don’t want to commit to a subscription. And the best part? One dollar per box sold is donated to our charity partner, P.S. Arts, who provides arts education to underserved public schools and communities. We also run various fundraising promotions and events throughout the year for various charities. Be sure to subscribe to our email list and social media to find out when our next fundraiser is happening.”

Skin City founder and participating artist Robin Slonina states, “It’s an easy and affordable way for people to support local artists. Plus it’s fun to get a package of art in the mail every month! I suggest thinking ‘outside the box’ when displaying your art collection. The size is perfect to display your new artwork on bookshelves, windowsills and coffee tables. I have even turned my son’s medicine cabinet into a little art gallery.” Slonina also suggests, “You never know what you are going to get, so if any art doesn’t match your home or office, just save it for creative re-gifting. I like to bring a bottle of wine and a small piece of art as a great host or hostess gift at parties.”

Deneau agrees, “Especially around the holidays, who doesn’t love having a rad gift stash on hand?”
